Decoration courses are divided in a theoretical part and in practical one.
During the theoretical part we explain the ancient procedure of creation of a Venetian Mask, through the clay modeling, the creation of the negative mould in chalk, and the application of papier-mache.
Then, Venetian Mask History is briefly introduced, with its social importance and its use in everyday life and during Carnival.
Finally we explicate different mask decoration techniques.
The practical part begins with the choice of the mask to decorate.
There are several models of masks at your disposal: theatre masks, traditional, fantasy, for children, for a party, or for furnishing.
All masks are absolutely handcrafted in the traditional way.
With our help, you don't need to be already an expert in order to decorate one mask!
Techniques we are teaching you will be always under your control: you will be the only one to decide if you are satisfied of your handwork or not, and, with our help, you will always be able to change the obtained effect until your work is done!
